Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was fun this year! The kids woke up to little treats at their breakfast spots. Bailey got some wacky toe socks, and Sawyer got a 3 Doors Down guitar book.

My cute little Valentines :)!

I was so excited when I found these socks for her. They come in sets of 3, so you can mix and match them. None of the 3 that go together are the same. They are perfect for her!

Bailey also got this dog from a boy at school that likes her. Sawyer was so funny about it. He didn't like the idea of boys giving stuff to her, so he said we needed to start sending her to school ugly! I thought that was hilarious!

Mark gave me a rose, some candy, and a memory book that he made. It has pictures of us together from high school and college. It was fun (and frightening) to look back on those times. He's the BEST!

I enrolled Mark in a Date of the Month Club. It was a really fun idea I got from Jenni. He got to pick an 'At Home' date each month, and an 'Out n About' date each month. He also got to pick 2 staycation packages for the year. It was fun coming up with date ideas. Now I get to have fun planning them.

These are the papers he had to fill out with his date choices. I'm excited for our fun year of dates!

Stuck Like Glue

Bailey played her guitar and sang at the Falls Valley Talent Show last night. She did the song Stuck Like Glue by Sugarland. She had guitar practice the night before, and her teacher turned her music stand around, and had her play it without looking at the music. She did great, so he wanted her to play at the talent show without using her music. She was nervous, but she did AWESOME!

This n That

Bailey got a set of hat looms for her birthday, and the scarf looms for Christmas. She has loved making stuff. We did a baby shower for our friend Jenni, and Bailey gave her matching scarfs for her and cute little Emersyn, and a matching hat for the baby. I forgot to take a picture of the hat, but it was really cute. She worked super hard on them, and they turned out great! It's a fun little talent that she is developing.

Bailey's first scarf!

Mark's birthday was January 16th. I surprised him with a night away from home. We had a nice dinner at Olive Garden, and then stayed in the Morocco room at Destinations Inn. It was so fun! The room was great. We got a sneak peak at some of the other rooms, and we can't wait to go back and stay in another one. Egypt is our next room of choice. Here are some pictures of our room.

I had a girl's night with my favorite Sandcreek ladies. Oh, how I miss those girls! We stayed up talking and working on projects (mostly talking) until 2 in the morning. I am proud to announce that I got a big jump on my LAST YEARS resolution. I have been wanting to get my recipes organized forever. I finished my dessert binder! That cleared out a huge part of the unorganized mess in my drawer. Yay me!
