This was a fun race for Bailey. A lot of the schools only ran their JV teams because they were saving their legs for the Bob Firman meet in Boise 2 days later. We ran our regular team, so Bonneville did super good. Bailey won her fist HS meet. She didn't just win it, but she won it by over a minute. Last year in 8th grade she got 2nd place at a meet, and she kept saying that she lost her only chance to ever win a xc race. So, this was a fun surprise!

Bronco Stampede
We sure missed Sawyer during her season!
Lots of medals for Bonneville!

Bailey was so excited to medal at this meet! It was Bob Firman who presented the kids with their medals.

27th out of 81 runners

Bailey has always hated this course and never done great on it. I told her she had to get over that mental issue, because this is the same course the district meet would be on. She ran awesome! I'd say this was her best meet as far as being gutsy and determined.

I love this picture! I always say she gets a certain look on her face when she runs. If she gets that look, I know she will run tough and do awesome. She had that look at this meet!
