Mother's Day!

Mother's Day was great! We went to church in the morning, and then anxiously awaited the Skype call from Elder Varvel. To pass the time until he called, we watched old home videos of the kids. We were laughing so hard! They were awkward, cute and hilarious all rolled into one! Then it was Skype time! BEST PART OF THE WHOLE DAY! Sawyer is so stinkin' funny! I love that guy so much and I can't wait for him to be home. Only 23 more days, and we can hug him, and he can make us laugh in person! It was so fun to talk to him. He looks great, and seems so happy! We met his companion, he told us about some of the mission experiences he's had, and we talked a lot about stuff for college. An hour goes by WAY to fast! This goodbye wasn't hard like the rest of them were though! No tears this time! When we
were finished talking to Sawyer, we went outside and roasted hot dogs and had dinner around the fire. Then we came in and watched the RM in honor of Sawyer coming home. :) It was a great day!

Me and Bailey have been passing this cow back and forth for over a year now. We have put it in some hilarious places! I wish I would have taken pictures of all the places we've hid it from each other. It sat on my shower head for 2 days watching me and Mark shower before either of us realized it was there. I love when she gets to school and pulls the cow out of her lunch bag in front of all her friends. Or when she is trying to put on her running shoes for practice, but the cow is shoved in her shoe! It was very appropriate that the cow should be the one to present me with my Mother's Day present from Bailey. She got me a pedicure, and a date to Barnes and Noble to pick out a book and get a treat. She knows what I love! :) Mark got me a running shirt that I've wanted. It says, "I run because punching people is frowned upon." Funny and true!
Love this guy!
Mother's Day picture with my kiddos!
Cookout!
I love them! They get so happy when we hang out by the fire with them!

Me and Bailey always snapchat Mark, but he thinks we're weirdos, so he never snapchats us back. Me and Bailey were sending snaps back and forth trying to see who could get the best 'selfies' with the dogs. Oreo loves the camera but she can't keep her tongue in her mouth, and Reeses hates when we use our phones to take pictures of her, so it's almost impossible. We were cracking up at some of the pictures we were getting. I wish I would have taken screen shots of all of them.
Hahahaha!
Mark left the room and got quiet for a few minutes. Little did we know he was FORCING Reeses to take selfies with him. We were laughing so hard when we got this picture!
She wins! This is a pretty cute one!
Being a mom is my favorite thing in the whole world! Happy Mother's Day!

Happy 22nd Anniversary!

Mark and I had our 22nd anniversary on May 8th! When I came downstairs in the morning, I found a fun surprise on the counter.  He arranged with his boss to take us on a tour of the valley, and the Tetons in his private plane! That will be a fun adventure!

Happy Anniversary Mark! Thanks for putting up with my shenanigans for 22 years! There's no one I'd rather spend this crazy life with! Love you!

N.O Limits Half Marathon

I ran the N.O Limits Half Marathon in Ogden over the weekend. I trained with a hip injury, so I eliminated all hill training, and all speed work half way through my training. I paid for that! This was one of the hardest courses I've run. It had lots of big hills that I wasn't expecting. It was also a fun, and beautiful course. Lots of it was run on trails, which I loved! Bailey ran 10 miles of it with me, and Mark even jumped in and ran about 3 miles. I ended up 3rd in my age group which was a happy surprise!

My cute fan club!
3rd place!
