Clint Black

We went to a Clint Black concert with Jason and Michelle. We were on the 8th row right in the middle. It was tons of fun! We had forgotten how many awesome hits he had. We also enjoyed watching all the drunk weirdos! At one point, the security guards had to chase a couple drunk ladies around.....for real, they were really chasing them! So funny!

Clint Black!
He was awesome on the guitar! He could play the harmonica and guitar at the same time! So impressive!
Good times with good friends!

Girl's Camp: 'Soul Survivor'

Bailey had a great time at stake girl's camp this year. They spent 5 days at Darby camping in levels. She was a level 4 this year. The theme for camp was 'Soul Survivor.'

The level 4 girls
The level 4 girls and youth leaders went up a day before everyone else. On Monday, they set up camp, and had a really cool obstacle course.

These were the girls Bailey shared a tent with.
Megan, Madi, Emily, Cailee, and Bailey
Tuesday was hike day! Bailey finally got to hike Tablerock. There was still a lot of snow, so they had to go up and down face. She did awesome! All her running paid off, because the hike was a piece of cake for her. That night they watched McFarland USA in camp.

On the way up Tablerock!
Marlee, Bailey, and Megan
she made it!
I love the view from the top. It feels like you can just reach out and touch the Grand Teton!

Level 4 girls from our ward: Bailey, Emily, Marlee, Kennedy, and Madi
On Wednesday they had a really cool devotional from a lady that was on the Monument Hike when the lightening strike happened. Then the 4th years got to go horse back riding for their adventure activity. I went up for that, and it was really fun! that night was spiritual night in camp.

Getting ready to ride!
Bailey and Emily with the cute mule.

Bailey and Bart!
All the cute cowgirls!
On Thursday they had an amazing devotional from a lady in our stake. Her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor shortly after they were married. It eventually took his life and she was left a widow at a very young age with very young children. She talked about all the ways the Lord helped her and blessed her through it all. Everyone said it was amazing! That night was Bishop's Night. The Bishop brought up pizza for dinner, and they played some fun games. After Bishop's Night, they divided back into their levels and had a testimony meeting.

The awesome Eastview girls and leaders!
Friday they just packed up and came home.

Footies and rain boots in the creek!

She made it home tired, smelly, looking goofy, and happy! Camp was a success!

Homecoming Talk/Father's Day

Sawyer gave his mission homecoming talk on June 21st. The topic was Love One Another, and he did a great job! He had so much support from our awesome ward, and tons of support from our friends/family that aren't even in our ward. Several of them even came up from Utah, which was so nice! The McCalls, Harris', Pages, Stotts, Skinners, Seedalls, Grammy and Papa, Tyler, Emily, Christie, Brittany, Brendon, Connor, Zack, Rae and her boyfriend, Reynold, McKenzie and her new husband, and some that left before I even saw them. We were feeling the love! We had dessert at our house afterwards, and the kids were cracking us up. Good times!

This is a crazy bunch! Tyler (who got back a week before Sawyer), Christie, Sawyer, Emily, Brittany, Brendon, and Connor.
Papa, Sawyer, and Grammy

Mark was a little overshadowed this Father's Day because of all the other stuff going on. But what  better gift, then to have your son report his mission on Father's Day! When the house finally quieted down, we were able to give him his present. We gave him a gift card to Massage Envy. He gets to have 3 one hour massages (one from each of us). He's pretty excited to redeem those! We had Grammy and papa over for a yummy dinner that night. It was a great day!

This is the only good Father's day picture I got. Some of the faces they made were so bad, I was too embarrassed to even put them on here! I don't know how Bailey can make her face do some of the stuff it does! Hahahaha!
Here we have Bailey, Mark, and Julian Smith!
My 3 favorites!
Happy Father's Day Mark!

Scenic River Classic Half Marathon

Hannah and Maren were running the Scenic River Classic Half Marathon, and Bailey was really excited to go watch them. It was the same Saturday that she was supposed to run her 18 mile training run. She figured out that she would have to get up at 4:00 in the morning to get her run finished in time to go watch the girls. Then she found out that JD was going to run it too. And Brian and Coen were going to run the 5K. She decided to just sign up for the race, and then just keep running 5 more miles when it was over. It was a great choice! The Bonneville runners did awesome! Every single one of them placed in their age groups!

Mile seven!
Half Marathon finishers!
Bailey and Hannah were 1st and 2nd in their age group, and Maren was 1st in hers. These are 3 awesome and hard working young ladies!
She's my idol! After she won her age group for the Half, she had to keep running 5 more miles! She completed 18 miles that day, the farthest she's ever run. She has about a month left until her marathon, and she has been doing so awesome!

Utah Temple Trip!

Bailey loves going to the temple, and she keeps track of all the ones she's been to. We wanted to do a Utah temple trip last summer with Laurie and Annie Wright, but our summers just got way too busy. So we did it this summer instead. It was so great! In two days, we went to seven temples, and did 156 ordinances, and had lots of great food and great laughs along the way! These girls are AWESOME!

Ogden Temple
Love them!
Bountiful Temple
Salt Lake Temple
This is one of my favorite pictures from the trip.
Dinner at the Lion House! Yum!
Payson Temple- I love the outside of this one!
Mount Timpanogos Temple
Mark and I lived in American Fork while the Mount Timpanogos Temple was built and dedicated, so it was nice to finally go to it.
Draper Temple- The location of this one was my favorite. It's tucked up a little canyon with beautiful surroundings.
Annie was keeping track of where the waffle truck was each day. It happened to be in a perfect location for us, and I'm so glad we stopped! Holy cow, they are so good!
Oquirrh Mountain Temple
This was our last temple of the trip.
We stopped and had Maddox for dinner on the way home. Perfect way to end the trip! Bailey and Annie have been good friends since their early years of elementary school. I'm so glad she has such awesome friends with the same spiritual goals and standards as her. There is no doubt in my mind that these two are going to accomplish big things in life!

Water Wednesday- Heise!

Some of the cross country kids spent a day swimming at Heise. They had tons of fun! Bailey said they went on the slide a gazillion times!

This one makes me laugh! I think Bailey jumped too soon!
That's better!
