Happy Sweet Sixteen!

Happy sweet sixteen to our beautiful Bailey! She's been waiting for this birthday for a long time! It's amazing the changes that can happen in one short year. Over the past year she has started driving, got a couple jobs, and now can date. Crazy! She didn't get a present on her birthday, because we got her a car earlier in the year. But, she had a great day celebrating with her friends and family. We kicked off the morning with a waffle bar at our house before school. She has so many awesome friends that got out of bed early to come celebrate with her. We had 24 people at our house eating waffles! So fun!

Holly, Liz, Lexi, and Gabby! Cute runner girls!
The crew-Mason, Dillon, Alex, Gabby, Liz, Emily, Bailey, James, Lexi, Hannah, Brian, Rachel, Cami, Jakob, Holly, Marlee, Parker, Lacy, Andrew, Kaden, Annie, and Madi had already left.
Mason had already eaten one big waffle, and then he made a waffle sandwich with two more. He finished it all! I can't believe he ate that much! He said he felt sick at school, but he came back for lunch and had pizza a few hours later! So funny!
Praising Mason for his awesome eating skills! :) Alex is seriously the best in this picture!
Before school selfies!
A few kids came back to our house a few hours later for lunch. Birthdays are all about eating! :)

Eating pizza and watching funny videos.
Later that night, Sawyer came down from Rexburg, and we went to Texas Roadhouse with Grammy and Papa. Yep, more eating. Totally Bailey's kind of day!

I wanted a cute picture of my kids together, and this is the best they would give me. Dorks!
Bailey saw this super cute picture of a baby giraffe. She posted it in a group message with some of her friends on Instagram and said, "If any of you want to get me a late birthday present, I want a baby giraffe!" The next morning Mason showed up at the door before school with a giraffe for her! So cute! This is the second year in a row that he's made her day for her birthday!
I want to write something that I love SO MUCH about Bailey. She has had friends, and I have had friends that have commented on the crazy modge podge of friends she has. She totally does! She has friends from every background, every social status at school, every grade, every interest, etc...When she has a get together, there is always a crazy mix of people there. It's because she truly loves everyone! She is kind, genuinely cares about everyone, and considers everyone a friend. She's crazy fun, nonjudgemental, and has a way of making everyone feel loved and important.  In today's world, I think that takes a confident teenager, and someone that truly knows who she is to be this way. I love so many things about her, but this is one of the things I love the most. She makes me a proud mama!

Happy sweet sixteen Bailey Rae! Love you!
