Teton Dam Half Marathon!

Christie asked Sawyer if he wanted to run a half marathon. The kicker was that it was in 19 days from when she asked! They had never run one before, and neither of them had been doing very much running. So, with very little training, they set out to do the Teton Dam Half. They both did awesome!

At the start! They saw Holden, a guy that used to run cross country at Bonneville with them!
They're off!
Mark and I saw them a lot, because we rode our bikes along the course.
Mile 3! 10 to go!
At mile 11 he was still going strong! I was super impressed with how well he did with such little training. He wants to keep running, and do the Idaho Falls Half with us! Yay!
Coming down home stretch!
His time was 1:54.
So proud of him!
When they were finished, we recreated a picture of them from their freshman year of cross country! So cute!
7 years earlier!
Once a runner, always a runner!
Good job Sawyer and Christie! Super proud of you both!
