String Lake

We spent a day at String Lake in Teton National Park. I love the lake, because it is right at the base of the Tetons, so it's so beautiful, but it's pretty shallow, so it's not cold like a typical mountain lake. We brought Kayaks, paddle boards, and lunch, and made a fun day of it.

Mark and I ran up to Lei Lake, which is a bigger lake about a mile up the trail.
Nothing like paddle boarding with the Tetons as your back drop!

She was going for the Pocahontas look! :)
We've been trying to get Mark on a paddle board for a year. We figured he'd like it, and then want to buy one. I hope it worked!

I love this picture!
I think the only time these two got off the lake was to eat!
