Holiday Guitar Performances

Bailey and Mark had a few holiday guitar performances this year. They always do the Festival of Trees, but I've already posted about that. Then Bailey had a small recital for her 3 guitar students. She loves teaching guitar, and this was the first time she's had an actual recital. It was really cute, and her students (Drew, Brooklyn, and Deqlyn) did a great job!

Singing the final song at her student's guitar recital.
Bailey got asked at the last minute to perform at Mark's company party. Like literally, the very last minute. The other entertainment they had scheduled fell through. She had to come home from school early, get a set list figured out, and her music organized, and head over to the party. It stressed her out, because she likes to be more prepared and have her songs memorized. The company paid her more then what she felt like she was prepared for, so although it wasn't her best showing, she was happy with how it ended up.

Performing at the Walsh Christmas party!
Mark and Bailey had two 1 hour time spots at the Museum of Idaho's Christmas display. They always play once before Christmas, and do mostly Christmas songs. Then they play once after Christmas, and replace a lot of the Christmas songs with fun new songs they're learning. They like performing their, because it's a relaxed, no stress atmosphere, with people just walking around looking at the nativity, santa, and gingerbread displays.

They had some awesome people come watch them! The Whiteheads came to listen. I think aside from me, Julie and Marlee have seen them perform the most. The Tormans were there. They are seriously the cutest family! Mason, Michael, and Alyssa came. Bailey doesn't usually get nervous, but I think those three made her a little nervous (in a good way)! :)
The second performance at the museum is always more relaxed and a little more fun. They mixed some fun new songs and a few older ones in with their Christmas music.

Museum of Idaho round two.

The Hughes came to watch! She loves these kiddos so much!
Mason came and watched again!
She doesn't usually have time to look around the museum. We told her to look around with Mason while we took all the equipment out to the car. Of course she couldn't pass up the chance to ride the horse.
I love the holidays, because I get to hear a lot of guitar being practiced at our house. They love performing Christmas music, but by the time the holidays are over, they are a little tired of it. They start practicing in October, and that's pretty much all they play until the year is over. It's been fun, but they're excited to move on to other stuff.
