Clownin' Around on Halloween!

I LOVE HALLOWEEN!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year! Bailey really wanted to be clowns this year, and it fit our personalities perfectly!

Our clown family: Mark, Bailey, Tricia, and Sawyer

We are CONSTANTLY yelling at Sawyer and retaking pictures, because he thinks he has to pull a face like this in all of them. This costume was sooooo perfect for his personality! He could pull all the faces he wanted, and it fit the picture just fine!

This was my all time favorite of the night! I love this nut head! He acts JUST like his Dad!

My cute little clowny Bailey.

Reeses LOVES Halloween too! Can't you just tell by her face?!?

Oreo was terrified of us in our costumes! When we tried to put one on her, it was hilarious. What good sports they were.

The Becks hosted a Halloween party for some neighborhood couples. It was super fun! We went to Garcias for dinner, and then back to the Beck's house for dessert. It was really fun to hang out with friends from our old ward again.

Byron and Becky were dressed as pirates, but for some reason their picture didn't turn out. Andy and Alesha were there too, but they were party poopers, and didn't dress up. Thanks for the fun night Byron and Becky!

We also spent time at Bailey's school carnival, while Sawyer went to a Halloween party with friends. Our ward had a big Halloween bash too! It's such a fun time of year, with so many activities to keep us busy!

Dr. Slaughters is always a tradition during Halloween. Bailey had gone through with Marlee and Brad earlier in the month. So, we took Sawyer and some friends through. It wouldn't be Halloween without a haunted house!

Brandon Mull and Croptoberfest

Brandon Mull
We met one of our favorite authors, Brandon Mull, at Barnes and Noble. He signed all of our Fablehaven books, and our Candy Shop Wars book. He was really nice and friendly. He told us about the new series he's working on, and it sounds good. We can't wait!

Croptoberfest
I took my annual trip to the Red Lion for Croptoberfest. Like usual, it was a BLAST! I got Sawyer's guitar binder finished, and I also got 13 pages scrapbooked. But even more important, is that I laughed a ton! Thanks for a great weekend ladies....it was just what I needed!

Make a Wish Run

Bailey and I ran a Make a Wish 5K this morning. We did pretty good considering I have been sick for the past week, and we haven't been running much since our half marathon. The run was to support a local wish kid named Jacob. His wish was to get a camp trailer for his family. He said even a used one would be great. The Make a Wish Foundation special ordered him a 2011 trailer! It was parked at the run. Jacob was so cute. He was the one who stopped traffic for us, and handed out the medals.

One of my family's favorite little girls is Emersyn. She had the pleasure of experiencing her own Make a Wish trip a year ago. She went to Florida and had lunch at Disneyworld with all the princesses. It's an amazing organization, and one we were very happy to support this morning. We felt very honored to be a part of Jacob's wish!

Those Darn Swings!

Bailey fell out of a swing at school. She scaped up her face in the wood chips and hurt both of her wrists. I took her to the doctor the next day, and luckily there were no broken bones. She sprained her right wrist really bad, so she has to wear a brace for about a week. She sprained the left wrist too, but not very bad. He wrapped that on up too (but just for a few days).
