Kelly Canyon Hike

Me and Bailey took the dogs hiking at Kelly Canyon. They love going on adventures, so we're gonna have to take them more often!

It was a beautiful day!
Bailey and Oreo!
These disgusting things were EVERYWHERE!
After our hike, we came home and played disc golf with Mark and Andrew. Then we went down to Sealander Park for our ward campout. We didn't spend the night, just went down for dinner. The Drapers had their remaining two puppies there. They were SOOO cute, so we mostly played with them the whole time.

Believe it or not, Mark even considered getting this cute little puppy. I had to be the voice of reason and say no. That was a rare switch :)! She was sure fun to play with for the evening though.

Water Wednesday- Aquatic Center

Our second Water Wednesday of the summer was cold and rainy, so the girls had to settle on the Aquatic Center. It's not quite the same without sunshine, but these three could have a good time anywhere!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the BEST hubby and dad EVER! I sure hope my kids realize how good they have it!
I got a road bike for Mother's Day, and I needed someone to ride with. So....Mark got a road bike for Father's Day! He's already done a few long rides on it, and really likes it!

Gotta love Bailey sportin' the PJs!
It's not quite the same taking Father's Day pics without Sawyer.
There's no better dads than these two!
Bailey edited this picture, and it cracks me up! She's hilarious!

Teton Dam Half Marathon

Me, Bailey, Brad, and Jim ran the Teton Dam Half Marathon. I had never run this one before so I didn't have any idea what to expect. It had a lot more hills than I thought. Good thing me and Bailey had been training hills for our Bone and Back relay, or we would have been in trouble. It ended up being a cold, windy day, but we ran better than we were expecting. The wind and hills slowed us down some, but the last 3 miles had some good down hills, so we made up a lot of time there. Me and Bailey came across the finish line at 1:54:47. That's Bailey's best half marathon time, and was good enough for us both to win our age categories. That was a nice surprise!

A picture for our missionary before the race!

We did it!

Heise

Our first WATER WEDNESDAY of the summer was at Heise! I took Bailey, Hannah, Annie, and Madi up there for the day. It was great weather, and there was hardly anyone there, so it made for a perfect day! We must have gone on the slide at least 30 times! We also taught Bailey and Hannah how to dive. They both even tried it off the diving board.  Such a fun day in the sun! We can't wait till the next water Wednesday rolls around!

We got lots of pictures for our missionary :)!
This picture cracks me up! Madi is hilarious, and then there's Bailey plugging her nose!

This is the cute lifeguard that Madi and Annie stalked the whole time.

Disc Golf

Bailey got some discs for frisbee golf in her Easter basket, but we've never had time for Mark to teach us how to play. Now that summer is finally here, we went to Freeman Park and played for a family night. It was windy, and me and Bailey aren't very good, but we sure had fun! Hopefully we'll get better as the summer goes on.

Bailey was in the stream a few times retrieving her disc :)!

National HS Rodeo Queen Pageant Performance

Bailey got her first paying guitar gig! Her and Mark played for the National High School Rodeo Queen Pageant in Pocatello. It was tons of fun! They played for about 20 minutes between the interviews and the modeling, so the contestants had time to change into their dresses and get ready. Then they played an instrumental for each girl while they did their model walk. After the judging was finished, they played for about a half hour while everyone took pictures, mingled, and ate dinner. They did a great job! The people were so nice! They got a lot of compliments, and a few other offers to perform. They even asked her if she would be interested in singing the National Anthem at a rodeo. I think that would stress her out big time :)! It was a great experience for them.

Savannah came down to help me. She videoed the performance, and helped me run the sound.
We had a lot of down time while they finished up the interviews, so we filled the time by sending crazy snap chats to each other.
Here's all the contestants.
We got done really late, and we were all starving. We went to dinner at Red Lobster at 10:00 at night. These girls were pretty funny with their crab legs.

BIG DEAL

DON'T LET ME BE LONELY

Bye Bye Middle School!

I can't believe Bailey's middle school years are already over! People say middle school can be the hardest time of your life, but Bailey has really enjoyed her time at Rocky Mountain. She had a fun last few days there. The Honor Society went to Lava Hot Springs. I took Bailey, Jessiny, Braydon, and Tanner down in my car, so they could stay longer than the rest of the school. They had tons of fun, and got plenty sunburned!

I love these crazies!
On the last day of school, Bailey had a few friends over for a celebration breakfast! The start of summer is definitely worth celebrating!

After school they went to Tanner's house to watch a movie and hang out, and then they ended up back here to goof around.

Bailey and Braydon-trying to get a normal picture of her is IMPOSSIBLE! She's just like Sawyer!
Bailey, Andrew and Jessiny
They're nuts!
We're so excited for summer! We have a lot of great adventures planned! Bye middle school! We'll miss ya (but not that much)!

Guitar Recital

Bailey had her guitar recital at Kate Curley Park. Seth puts so much time and effort into their recitals. They had a full band to play with, including a lead guitar, bass, drums, and key board. It was great! Bailey played Big Deal with Mark, and Black Horse and a Cherry Tree with her 'group lesson' friends.
Thanks for all you do Seth!
I love this duo!
