Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a great Easter! After church, we had a yummy ham dinner with Sawyer and Amanda at the barn.

Happy Easter from our Cider Bend family!

Amanda learned how to make macaroons, and they are bomb!

Our dessert of the month for April was a banana pudding poke cake, so we decided to have it for our Easter dessert. It was yummy!

Easter treats!
We celebrated with Bailey, Mason, and Nora a couple weeks ago while we were in Boise for a race.

Puzzles

Since our winter was so rough, I had to spend a lot of time in the barn keeping the animals company when they were stuck inside from ice, and cold temperatures. I did a lot of puzzles! I would listen to podcasts while I put these together.

This is one of my favorite puzzles. I got it at a cute little bookstore in Boise. I've done it several times.

This was a fun one! Amanda gave this one to me when I watched her cats so she could spend Christmas in Seattle with her family. I have visited most of these places, so it was fun to put together.

I got this one as a Christmas gift, and this was my first time putting it together.

I love this one! This was my second time doing it, but Mason is insanely good at puzzles, so he did most of it the first time.

I have to be very selective about when I set a puzzle out. Once it's set up, I have a hard time walking away from it. It was fun having a reason to bust out several in one winter season.

Cider Bend

We celebrated St. Patick's Day at Cider Bend by lighting the barn green for the month. We also decorated our photo booth, and had some fun with the donkeys. 😆

All lit up green.

I've been having so much fun with the photo booth.

Here's a cute reel I made for my Cozy Corral Instagram page. 😂

I love this old girl. She's still always down for my shenanigans.

Sweet Clover.

Willow loves to ham it up. 😂

This is what Willow does with her breakfast bucket every single morning. Poor Clover just deals with it. 😅

We got a lot of snow in March. When I say a lot, I mean a ridiculous amount!

On March 3rd I got up and took the animals for their walks. A nice pretty snow was falling. It just kept on falling, and by the early evening, we were having to plow paths for the donkeys to be able to get around in their corral. We had to plow out the gates just to get them opened.

It started out fun and pretty.

Cute little powdered donkeys.

Willow loves to go on walks when the snow is coming down, as long as it's not windy.

Sweet little snow dusted Clover.

Here's when it started being not as fun.

Plowing out the gates.

Two days later, on March 5th, we got more!

Clover still likes to carry big snacks with her on her walks.

Mark and Willow

We just kept hoping spring would arrive, but then on March 10th, we got hit with another one. This one brought crazy wind with it.

We took Reeses out, and it was super windy, but we got her back before the bad stuff hit.

The wind got really bad, and the snow was getting blown around when we had the donkeys out. They hate the wind.

Willow tried to short cut back to the barn, but the snow was too deep. We hurried them back inside.

This is a good video to hear the wind blowing.

We thought maybe we were finally done with snow, and then it dumped on us again on March 21st.

We got a lot!

💖💖💖

💙💙💙

They are so stinking CUTE!

Cutest little besties!

March 25th we got hammered AGAIN! Ugh, it was definitely getting old!

😅😅😅

We rounded out the month with plenty more snow! March 30th brought lots more! We desperately needed a winter like this, so I kept a really good attitude, but by the end of March I was so over it!

We woke up to this, and then it just kept on snowing!

The apple tree sure looked pretty.

We picked a heck of a winter to learn how to farm!

We got the donks a new toy! Their favorite thing is when we fill it with dead leaves. 😁

I don't have very many pictures of me with the donkeys, because I'm always the one behind the camera. Mark took some pictures of us one morning, and I love them. You can see in my face how much I truly love them. 😊

My sweet girls!

There is nothing quite as cute, entertaining, and hilarious as donkey sass! Willow has a fun, sassy side, and it cracks me up! Clover is mostly as mellow and sweet as can be, but every night she gets the zoomies around 7:00, and she shows off a wilder side. I can watch them for hours. Here's a little video example of both of their sass.

Can't you just see why I have so much fun!

This may be my favorite reel I've ever made for Instagram. Clover is hilarious!

I went from being an empty nester, to having two toddlers! 😂

Cider Bend will be adding 3 baby Nigerian Dwarf Goats to the farm in April! We are just waiting for them to be weaned from their mamas. We're so excited! We go and visit them each week.

Meet Ginger, Roxie, and Dolly. They are so cute and tiny!

Ahhhh, I can't wait!

I love when we add to our fun and chaos!

Mark has already picked Ginger as his favorite!

Sweet little Roxie!

Cute Dolly!

This will be a learning experience for us, just like everything else has been. We've been doing a lot of research, and work at the farm to get ready to add these cuties. Stay tuned...

Little Beauties!

The sweetest best friends!

Hahaha! I love my Willow!

The results of a really good roll!

I made carrot cake, and the girls benefited from it as well.

Our house is coming along really good.

We have deer go through our property every night. I filmed this little deer being cute and playful. Bailey said it looked like the crackhead of the bunch. 😂

Love our nightly parade!

Another month gone, and we're still loving life on the farm. I sure hope spring gets here soon though.

Happy Birthday Amanda!

Our cutie pa-tootie Mananda turned 24 in March! We celebrated with dinner at their house. Sawyer made a brisket for her birthday dinner. So yummy! Amanda made her own birthday cake, and it turned out really good. Fun night celebrating!

Sawyer got up early to get the brisket started. It's an all day process.

Ta-dah! It was very tasty!

Such a cute cake!

Happy birthday Mananda Monster! Hope your wish came true!

Happy St. Patty's Day

Mark and I were in Boise running a race on St. Patrick's Day, so we couldn't do much to celebrate. We had fun with the donkeys during the week before we left to go out of town though. 😂 The following weekend, we had Sawyer and Amanda over for a corned beef n cabbage dinner. I only make it once a year, and we love it, so we didn't want to miss it. Better late than never.

Clover and Willow got in the spirit!

Corned beef n cabbage.

I made my first carrot cake. It was so good! I can stop looking for the perfect recipe for it, because this is definitely it! The only carrot cake I've ever had that might rival this one is from Maddox.
