Snowshoe: Little Kellys

We figured since the snow is never going to leave, we might as well embrace it. We decided to do a Friday early evening snowshoe up Little Kellys. We had a beautiful evening; the sky was so pretty the whole time. We kicked it off with two moose at the trailhead. I feel bad for them, because they have to stay so low, because of the amount of snow that is still in the mountains. It's been a rough winter for all the animals. All the deer are just hanging out by the road too.

Mama and older baby. Im pretty sure these are the same two that Joyce and I had a hard time getting around the last time we were on this trail. I'm glad they made it through winter.

Just us being dorks at the trailhead. Excited to see our moose friends.

The clouds were fast moving, and the sky kept changing, but it looked so pretty!

There is so much snow, that we are now crawling under trees that we normally just walk under.

Turn around point.

I love this picture!

Making a snow angel in snowshoes is harder than it appears. 😅

Cute!

Beautiful night!

The green gate is still buried!

😍😍😍
