Bridal Shoot

Mason and Bailey had their bridal shoot a few days before their wedding. Jessie Hazel Creative did an amazing job! I love them all!

Mason hadn't seen Bailey's dress yet, so they did a first look shoot. So cute!

Mason waiting to see his bride!

I love this so much!

Getting closer!

The first look!

All the heart eyes for them!
Now for the rest of the photo shoot. Get ready for picture overload, because I love them all!

This is one of my favorites!

They could not have had a more dreamy location! She wanted a wild flower bouquet, and then the wildflowers had just bloomed on the side of the mountain. It was perfect!

So handsome!

So cute!

This is probably my favorite from the whole shoot. Stunning!

I love this one too!

She looked so grown up and beautiful!

Bailey loves this one!

Engagement Pictures

Bailey and Mason had their engagement pictures done in March, by Shynebrightphotography. Shyanne did a great job, especially considering that Bailey's arm was in a sling, and she couldn't use it at all for the photoshoot. You would never know by looking at the pictures.  She has such great friends in Boise. She couldn't use her arm, which meant she couldn't do her own hair and make up for pictures. She had awesome people step up and help her out. I love all of these!

They used this one for their wedding invitation.

He was telling her a joke in this picture. It's my favorite. This one was also on the wedding invitation.

This is when he said the punchline of the joke.

Love this!

I love this one! You can tell just how in love Bailey is by the way she looks at him.

Mason gave her this locket when he left on his mission. It has a picture of them in it from a high school dance, and a picture of Mason hunting with his dad. His dad told him to smile like he loves Bailey, and then took the picture.

She had to capture one picture with the sling in it. :)

Happy Birthday Sawyer!

It was a busy weekend! Camping, Our anniversary, Mother's Day, and Sawyer's birthday to celebrate! Sawyer's birthday was on Monday, but we celebrated on Sunday, because that's when we usually have everyone home. He came over for presents, his favorite dinner, and his favorite cake for dessert. I didn't have to make any of it, because it was mother's day too, so no cooking for me! We got him a bookshelf for his apartment, and a mattress topper for his mattress (he's using our old mattress, and it sucks). On Monday, Mark picked up Sweet-o Burrito and we brought it to his apartment for lunch.

Blowing out his birthday candles. Don't mind the crazy hair and beard. He's not taking care of that until the 'stay home' order is lifted and he goes back to work. Ugh!

Meet Grizzly Adams and his new bookcase.

Helping his mattress pad flatted out after unrolling it.
Happy Birthday Sawyer! Thanks for making us laugh with your wit and inappropriate humor!

Camping!

Bailey wanted to get a camping trip in before she got married. It got off to a rough start. We were planning on a little campsite in Pocatello, because Mark and I had a long Saturday run in the Pocatello hills planned for Saturday morning. Mark got off work Thursday, and we headed down there. The campground was closed for renovations, and every other campsite or forrest service road were blocked off or closed for COVID-19 regulations. So stupid! Apparently you run a high risk of getting it when you're isolated in the mountains with your family (insert eye roll here)! We drove over an hour back to Idaho Falls, and decided to try the Heise area along the river. We lucked out and got an awesome spot. We were finally set up by 9:00 that night.  We did a hike on Friday, and then just hung around the campsite. We read, laid in the hammocks, played games in the trailer, cooked over the fire, and did all the normal camping things.
On Saturday morning, Mark and I had to get up super early (4:00) to head to Pocatello for our long group run. It ended up being an awesome 24 mile run (the longest we have gone in a while). While we were gone, Mason and Bailey just hung around the campsite in their pjs playing games all day.
Sunday was Mother's Day, so we just got up, had breakfast, took our time packing up, and drove home. Good times!

Our campsite right on the river.

Hanging out in the hammock.

My happy place is reading by a river.

Bailey is a pro fire starter. It's one of her favorite parts of camping.

Roasting hot dogs.

Our campfire dinner.

S'mores!
Our Friday hike:

There were so many creek crossings. Mason jumped them all, and Bailey was hilarious trying to get through them.

Their last week of the single life!

Happy anniversary to us! This hike was on our 26th anniversary.

We are so excited that it's finally camping season! We are also super excited that Mason and Bailey will be living here for the summer so they can come with us. Hopefully we can drag Sawyer out for at least one camping trip this year.
