Chuckars!

It seems like I just posted about our first Chuckars game, and now the season is over! It was another great season of us messing around more than watching the games.

We aren't sure if Mark's company is getting the suite again next year. We will be so sad if they don't! Thanks for some great games Chuckars!

Fun at the Fair

Sawyer had to take the ACT on Saturday, so me, Mark and Bailey went down to the Eastern Idaho State Fair. We had fun walking through the animal barns, and eating lots of fair food.

 Our first round of food was a tiger ear for Bailey, and Bimbo burgers for me and Mark.

 Me and Bailey end up wanting all of the animals, and Mark just rolls his eyes, and tries to keep his allergies under control.

Even Mark liked this cute little goat! It loved him! I think he might be a goat whisperer :)!

It tried to eat everything. It liked Bailey's hat, Mark's shorts, the camera strap, and even our hair. 

 I'm pretty sure I can't live without a miniature donkey, so that's on my Mother's Day list. 

 This was one of the bigger friends that we met. He was so sweet. He just stood there sleeping while everyone pet him.

 Round two for food was funnel cakes!

 We always have to try some crazy new food. This year it was chocolate covered bacon. Surprisingly, not bad. An interesting mix of sweet and salty.

We love to 'people watch' at the fair, and unfortunately there weren't  any crazy stand outs this year. I think they all must have been over at the carnival rides, and we avoid that part all together. Better luck next year :)!

Shrimp Boil!

We had our annual shrimp boil with the Hughes! We love this tradition! This year Jenni wanted Sawyer to bring a date. He brought Laura Waters, and Jenni had their own private little table set up, complete with a candle and romantic music. I thought it was so cute :)! We dumped all the food across the table, and went for it....no utensils allowed. So fun and so yummy! We ate shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, onions, bread, lemonade, and dessert. We finished with perfect timing too, because right as we were getting everything cleaned up, there was a pretty good storm that blew in.

Sawyer was holding Preslee, and she started to pick her nose. She pulled her finger out and wiped it down the front of his shirt. We all died laughing!

Thanks Hughes, for a fun shrimp boil. We can't wait till next year!
