Alvin, Simon, Theodore....and Tricia!

I had my wisdom teeth out on Friday. My dentist had been telling me for about 2 years that I needed them out. I just kept putting it off. Then my jaw started aching, so I finally had it done. I guess they had to go up pretty high to get the top ones out. The doctor told Mark my eyes might swell shut by Sunday. Luckily for me, that didn't happen. I am pretty puffy though. It hurts to smile, and I can't open my mouth very wide to eat, but I'm looking better than they thought I would. I posted a picture of myself. I figure everyone should have a good laugh at my expense :)!

We rang in 2009 with our friends Jeremiah, Kassie, Carson and Landon Temple. At the stroke of midnight we shot off streamers, and toasted each other with sparkling cider, but then it was back to Rock Band. This has become our latest obsession! We introduced the game to the Temples, and now they are ADDICTED to it. They were worse than the kids....they wouldn't go to bed! Every night I would drag myself to bed at about 1:00 in the morning, but they were still going strong. One night they stayed up playing until 3:30. They're like crazy teenagers :)!

Reeses does the cutest trick. Whenever someone sits on the ground she has to sit on their lap. It's really funny! Reeses LOVES Kassie, and as you can tell by Kassie's face, she's so happy for the chance to share in our dog's talent :)

Bailey thinks the world of Kassie. In the mornings, Kassie was nice enough to put down the drumsticks and help Bailey get ready for the day. She would pick out her clothes, and do her hair and makeup. She did a great job. I guess she needs to hurry up and have a girl.

Ice Skating

We took Sawyer and a group of his friends ice skating during their break from school. It was so fun to watch them. I am so grateful for the friends he has. They are such a fun, easy going group of kids. With all the temptations and pressures teenagers go through, it makes me so happy to know that he has a group of such good kids to hang out with. I love them all and I'm so proud of them!
