A Spooktacular Halloween!

I LOVE Halloween! I love everything about it... the fall weather, the haunted houses, the scary movies, the costumes, the parties, the trick or treaters, I love it all! It's kind of sad that my kids are older and it's not as big of a deal anymore, but we still try to cram in as much fun as we can.

Bailey and Sawyer did a couple haunted houses with their friends this year. Mark, Bailey, and I did the Scare Tower in Rexburg for family night. It was pretty good! It was a really cool environment for a haunted house.

Bailey made friends at the Scare Tower.
Bailey's friend Liz is an exchange student from Germany. She was excited to celebrate her first real Halloween. She had to experience pumpkin carving, so Bailey got a few friends together to carve pumpkins. They turned out so cute!

Cutest little pumpkins!

Liz spent Halloween weekend with us, and the girls had tons of fun! The night before Halloween, they went to a party for all the exchange students. Bailey thought it was super fun being the only American there, and getting to know everyone. Then on Halloween, the girls dressed up to hand out candy for the first part of the night. They were so funny in their costumes! Later in the night, they turned the trick or treaters over to me and Mark, and they went to a couple of parties. They had a great time, and I think Liz loved how Americans celebrate halloween.

How 'bout a little spicy mustard with your hot dog?
They were so cute!
She's a wiener!
Mark put on our gorilla costume and scared the trick or treaters. So funny!

Mark isn't really that short, he was just crouching down like a gorilla.
This was a disturbing sight for the trick or treaters! The little kids would be scared at first, but then he would bust out his dance moves, and they liked him after that.

They carved more pumpkins at Lexi's.
We didn't see much of Sawyer. He had fun doing stuff with his college friends. His ward had a costume party, and he dressed up like a beach bum. He forgot to take pictures, so he took a screen shot from a video. So funny!

We hope Halloween was great for everyone!
