Sadie Hawkins

Bailey and Mason went to Sadies together and had a great time!

The Asking:
Bailey wore a hot dog costume to the beginning of cross country practice, holding a sign that said, 'Mason, don't be a MEANIE, go to Sadies with this WEENIE!' Hahaha, she's a nut!

Asking
Answering:
To answer her, Mason dumped frozen peas all over her car and left a sign that said, 'I got so excited that you asked me to Sadies, I PEAD all over your car! Yes!' So funny! She said it was hilarious driving her car home, because peas were flying everywhere!

The Dance:
The dance was the same day as the state cross country meet that they were both running in, so they couldn't do a 'day date.' Bailey got back from the meet, and had less than an hour to get ready and pick him up for dinner. Good thing it was just a t-shirt dance! The dance was right before Halloween, and had a Harry Potter theme, so that was fun! My friend made their shirts, and they turned out so cute! Bailey's shirt said, 'On a scale of 1-10, Mason is a Nimbus 2000.' Mason's shirt said, 'On a scale of 1-9, Bailey is a 9 3/4.'

We had a Halloween themed 'Mystery Dinner' at our house. It was so funny! The kids had to order from the menu below, not really knowing what they were going to end up with. They even had to order their type of plate, utensils, and cup. That was the best part! Me and Mark were dying! So funny!

The menu
Here is the dinner set up. We had to block off the view to the kitchen, so they couldn't figure out what they would be ordering, until we brought it out to them.
Ordering their dinner!
Bailey and Mason both had to eat the whole meal with deadly spears (chop sticks), and a pooper scooper (giant serving spoon). They were so funny!

Rachel and Alex
Matt had to eat with scorpion pinchers (tongs), and Hannah ate with a dead hand (ice cream scoop).
They were really good sports, and had a great time!
After dinner, they went to a haunted house, since they didn't get to have a 'day date.'

Then it was off to the dance! I love that Bailey and Mason are the type of kids that can have fun anywhere! After the dance, they went to Hannah's house for treats and games. Hannah and her family made the cutest Halloween snacks!

So fun!

These are the cutest treats!

Bailey had a great time, like always! This was her first t-shirt dance, and the fact that it was so close to Halloween made it really fun. Oh, and her cute date might have had something to do with it too! :)
