Vegas/One Direction

Bailey received One Direction concert tickets for her birthday, and then had to wait 9 months to use them! But trust me, she thought it was SO worth the wait! We headed to Vegas on a Thursday morning, and came back on Sunday. We had a great adventure!

Bailey picked The Luxor to stay in. She thought the idea of a pyramid was fun. It worked out great, because The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay are connected, and that's where the concert was. When we got there, we toured our hotel for awhile, and then I surprised her with a dinner show. We went to The Tournament of the Kings at the Excalibur. What a great show!

Sawyer loves Criss Angel, so he wanted us to find the card he put in the glass at The Luxor. We found it!

Yes, yes we did find this store! Good thing we didn't have any extra room in our suitcase, or we would have been bringing back the whole store! 

Tournament of the Kings was an awesome show. The horses and riders were amazing, and the dinner was great! It was a really fun atmosphere.

 After the show was over, we decided to walk down the strip and check things out. There are some CRAZIES in Vegas! We went to the New York New York, the M&M and Coke Factory, and people watched on the strip for a while. So fun!

The next morning we spent a few hours at the pool. That was a fun place to people watch too.

Such a tough life ;)! 

Then we went hotel touring some more. We went to the Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, and the Mirage.

There is a chocolate shop in the Bellagio. This dress was made out of chocolate! It was so cool! 

The Botanical Gardens in the Bellagio were great. We loved the snails made out of roses.

We watched the fountain show outside of the Bellagio.

The Mirage was awesome! We went to the dolphin and tiger exhibit and spent a lot of time there. I'm pretty sure I need my own dolphin! We were there for a couple training sessions, and they are just like big swimming dogs. I loved them!

We made it back to our room pretty late, so we ate dinner and went right to bed. The next day we spent a few more hours at the pool, and then it was CONCERT time!

Ahhhh! She was so excited to be there! 

All of a sudden we heard all the girls start screaming and running! The 1D guys were coming out of their room and walking by! It was pure craziness! I thought we were going to get trampled! All the girls would break out in song and if they were loud enough, one of them would stick his head out and wave. We were too short to see anything, but Bailey still had a blast being in the mix of it all!

If you watch the video, you can see them coming out of the door and waving and then going back in. They were having fun teasing the crowd. This went on for about an hour.

The opening act was 5 Seconds of Summer, and they were fantastic!

Let the madness begin! I've never heard screaming quite like it! 1D put on a great show though. They were so fun and personable!

Niall is Bailey's favorite. Add that he plays the guitar, and that's like icing on the cake. I took this picture and said, "You're welcome Bailey."

We had a great trip, and a great concert! I think we might have to do it again :)!
