National History Day

Bailey has a class at school called Big History. They had a really big district project due for National History Day. The theme this year was RIGHTS, so Bailey did music Censorship. We constructed a stage for her project and put all the information on it. She even had people on the stage holding up signs saying how they were censored. It turned out cute, but was a huge pain in the butt! She's a hard worker though, and made sure it was HER that actually did the project. She isn't the type to hand it off to her parents (even though sometimes we wish she would).

With a lot of direction from Mark, they spent 5 hours building and painting the stage.
Curtains added!
I helped her to get all her information on the stage. One side had a timeline of the history of music censorship. The other side had quotes from artists with their opinions of censorship. She also had to write a paper on it.
This is the finished project.
Good job Bailey!
