Fab Five Christmas Party

For our Fab Five Christmas party this year, we decided to do something a little different. We headed to Island Park to spend a weekend at Becky's cabin. So fun! I hope this is our new tradition. We literally talked the ENTIRE weekend. No movies, no walks outside, just staying up late talking. We never run out of stuff to catch up on. There is never a shortage of food, or laughs when the five of us are together. 😂 

A quick trip to Walmart on the way up for some matching PJs. They ended up getting fuzz EVERYWHERE! Even the sheets turned red from wearing them to bed. It drove Michelle nuts! So funny!

They moved the Belnap Christmas light show up to Island Park, and it was going on a few cabins down from us. We got to go out on the deck and watch the Christmas fireworks.

We had quite a scare while we were up there. Lesa's niece, Paige, was also staying at a cabin in Island Park with some friends. They decided to come over in the middle of the night to scare us. First they walked around on the deck outside. We thought maybe there was an animal on the deck. We kept looking through the window, but saw nothing but darkness. They had gotten the entry code to the cabin from Byron, so the next thing we know, we hear people walking on the main floor above us! Holy smokes! We definitely found out which ones of the group can stay rational in a scary situation, and which ones don't! Misty and I went up stairs with our weapon (a 5lb dumbbell I found laying on the ground). I went one way at the top of the stairs, and Misty went the other way. All of a sudden we heard a scream, and Misty had come face to face with Paige. I thought it was so funny! I concluded from the whole experience, that we really need to get Lesa and Michelle enrolled in some self defense classes. Lesa stood in a corner of the basement with a blanket over her head. 😂 Never a dull moment with my Fab Five!
