Happy 3rd 'Bee-Day' Nora Rae!

We took a quick trip to Boise for Nora's 3rd birthday party. While we were there we got to celebrate Mason's birthday too. His birthday is the beginning of May, but we knew we wouldn't see him again that soon, so we brought his presents with us. Now that they have a house, it's super easy to buy gifts for Mason. We got him a ladder and a BBQ cover.

Happy birthday Mason!

A ladder and a grill cover.

Nora's Party was the cutest thing ever! It was her first 'friend party', and she was so excited about it! I loved meeting all of her little friends, and watching her interact with them. So cute! Bailey did a bee theme, and it came together so perfectly! It was a mad rush to finish getting everything set up at the last minute, but we pulled it off, and everyone had a great time!

Bailey had a vision of the cake and cupcakes she wanted to make, and she knew exactly how she wanted them displayed. Mark and Mason got to work first thing in the morning making a honeycomb display. It turned out so good! While the guys were doing that, Bailey and I hit the store for the food and a few other things.

Then it was time for decorating and set up.

The boys hard at work making a honeycomb stand.

It could not have turned out any better. The stand was perfect! The cupcakes turned out so good, and Bailey threw together the cutest beehive cake. I loved it all!

I love this birthday girl so much! She loved everything about her party!

Cutest little family!
It's not gonna be long until there is an additional little squish to love on.

She makes my heart happy!

Mason's siblings dote all over Nora, and she just loves them!
Taylor and Liv moved to Boise the day of the party. Super busy weekend for them, but they still put Nora first and gave her all the love. It will be fun for Bailey and Mason to have all his siblings living in the same city for a while.

Lyssa and Conner are the best. Nora loves Conner and isn't shy about showing it. 😂 He's such a good sport, and is so sweet with her. Bailey has loved having Lyssa in Boise.

Mason's grandma is my favorite! She has been one of Bailey's biggest supporters since clear back in Bailey's high school days. She loves Nora, and I'm so glad these two have such a cute relationship! Marilyn is Grandma's sister, and she has been to two of three of Nora's birthday parties. So sweet!

When all the guests arrived, they played with side walk chalk, bubbles, a color table, and Nora's water table. They had the cutest little snacks while they played.

Nora loving her fun birthday snacks.

I can't even get over her outfit!

😊😊😊

Snacks with her little party friends.

Sidewalk chalk

The kids played 'pin the bee on the flower', and it turned out so good! Bailey wasn't sure if it would capture their attention, but it did! All the kids waited in line excited to have their turn. I made the big flower poster and it ended up being perfect.

Look at all those cute bees!

I just love this shot of the party. So many great friends and family supporting our little birthday bee.

Next we sang happy birthday and had cake!
Nora just sang right along, and then it was so cute when she realized they were all singing to her.

Blowing out the candles!
We thought most of the kids would want cupcakes, but they all thought the cake was so fun, they all wanted cake instead. 😆

Next it was time for presents!
We got Nora a swim suit, water shoes, sunglasses, a beach towel, and passes to a big water park in Boise. Hopefully we'll be able to go over and spend a day at the park with them. Bailey will be on maternity leave, so we can help Nora at the park and help with Charlie while Mason and Bailey play in the water with Nora.

Nora got majorly spoiled from all her friends and family!

This is one of my favorite party pictures. I just love how excited kids get when it's present time. They all wanted to help her open things and be the first to peek inside at what she got. 😁

Yay for piñatas!

Taylor was the one to break the piñata open at Nora's first birthday party, so it was fitting that he broke this one open too.

After the party, we went to In and Out with Mason's siblings.

We had just enough time on Sunday morning to look through Nora's presents with her before we headed home. I hate that our trips have to be so short, but I'm grateful they live close enough to hop in the car and be there in a few hours, so we don't have to miss moments like these.

Nora got the cutest present from one of her friends. You build your own flower garden. I'm totally ordering one of these for the playroom at my house!

She also got kinetic sand, which is so cool! We had fun playing with that too. So many cool toys for kids these days!

It was a quick but super fun weekend! We loved every second of celebrating Nora Rae! I can't believe she's already three years old, but at the same time, I hardly remember life without her. Happy birthday Nora! We love you to pieces!
