Sawyer was only home from his mission for a day and a half, and then he took off with friends for an eventful trip to Arizona! Emily, Brittany, Christie, and Sawyer left at 4:30 Friday morning, stopped in Provo to pick up Brendon, and then headed to AZ for Breeanna's wedding reception. They had a blast! It was a great way for Sawyer to readjust to normal life again. He was only supposed to be gone until Sunday night, but they had lots of car trouble, so they didn't make it back until Tuesday night.

They made it to AZ!

 They all stayed at Brendon's family's house. They got up Saturday morning and went to the Mesa Temple to do baptisms.

 After the Temple they went swimming at Brendon's house. They didn't get pictures, but if they would have, Emily said they would have captioned it, 'Naked and Afraid!' Sawyer came out in his swim suit and said, "It's weird...I can see my belly button, and you can see my belly button. I'm so naked!"

 When they left Scott and Amber's house, the car started having trouble. They were worried about making it home the next day, so while the others went to the wedding reception, Sawyer and Emily worked on finding out what was wrong with the car and trying to fix it. First they replaced the ignition coil, but that wasn't the problem. They were sad to miss the reception, but Breeanna came to Brendon's house to visit them. At least they got to see her, and meet her new husband, Connor, who everyone said is awesome. On Sunday they cleaned the maf sensor in the car, but that wasn't the problem either. They had to stay Sunday night, and take the car to a mechanic on Monday morning. They found out it was the ICM, but they had to go into Phoenix to get the part. They finally got it all replaced, and started to head out of town Monday evening. They didn't get very far and a tire blew! Ahhhh! By the time they replaced the tire, it was too late to head out, so they had to spend another night. They ended up getting back Tuesday night.

They were stuck at WalMart for awhile, so Sawyer called Noah and had him meet them there. Noah is leaving on his mission in August, so I'm glad they got the spend a little time together!

Despite not getting to go to the reception, having car issues, and having to stay 2 extra days, they had a blast! Such awesome kids! Okay, so maybe they aren't kids anymore, but that's still what I'm gonna call them! :)
