Freshman Track

Bailey loved her freshman track season. Her heart is never in track as much as it is cross country, but she sure loves this team! She ran the 800m, 1600m, and 4X400m relay.

Tiger/Grizz

Bailey's goal for the 1600m this year was to break the 6 minute mark. She kept getting 6:02, but she finally did it at the Tiger/Grizz meet. She ran a season best time of 5:56. She was pretty happy with that!

4X400m Relay

This is the meet that her 4X400m team got their best time. They've struggled all year with girls running injured. They weren't even running with their original team, but everything clicked, and they ran a 4:30 for a season best.

Districts

Districts was an interesting meet! It ended up pouring rain and hailing for a long time. The track flooded, so they had to delay the meet. The meet officials and the awesome Bonneville athletes worked really hard to clear the water off the track, and an hour later, the meet resumed.

Bailey was really frustrated with her 800m times this year. She was pretty consistent, but thought she would have been running faster. Everything finally clicked at Districts, and she got a 4 second PR. She ran a 2:35, and was only 2 places away from making it to the state meet. It was a great way for her to end the season!
