Mission Accomplished!

Welcome home Elder Varvel! Sawyer returned from serving an LDS mission in Lubbuck, Texas! Two years was a long time for him to be gone, and we are so glad to finally have him back home!
A regular part of my morning for the past two years was putting a sticker on his mission chart to count down the days until he'd be back. It was so great when I got to wake up on June 3rd and put the very last sticker on the chart!
Bailey was so excited she could hardly stand it!
The crew impatiently waiting at the airport. It figures that his flight was a half hour late! Then we could see him standing out on the tarmac for a long time waiting to get his bag. It took FOREVER!
Here  he is!
We've waited two years to get this hug!
Sawyer and Dad!
Hugs for Grammy!
Hugs for Papa! Papa disappeared from the airport right about the time Sawyer's flight was supposed to come in. We found him outside watching for the plane to fly over and land.
Their oldest grandchild returned, and the second oldest is getting ready to leave on his mission. Fun times!
Emily is awesome! She came to the airport and took tons of pictures for us!
Kassie was so happy to have Nuggy home! :)
Two years was a long time for these two to be apart, but it instantly felt like he had never left!
Could she possibly look any more happy?!? :)
Our family is complete again!
Welcome Home Elder Varvel! Mission accomplished!
Hahaha! Some things never change!

Sawyer and Reeses reunited!

Sawyer and Christie Mae!
Sawyer and Hailey! Hailey got off her mission to Mexico a few weeks before Sawyer got home.
Kassie made him a 'welcome home' cake.
Their first run together in two years!
Bailey couldn't wait to take him to get a snow cone!
He finally gets to walk his furry friends again!
It's so fun having him home! He had a great mission, and we're all very proud of him. Now it's onto college, and the next chapter of his life!
