BSU-Semester 2

I'm a little behind blogging about Bailey's second semester at BSU. I guess since she's about ready to start her second year, I better get caught up.
She loved her second semester just as much as the first! She loves living in Boise, going to Boise State, and meeting tons of great people. I can't believe she's already finished with a year of school!
I've posted separately about our trips over to visit her, but here are some of her highlights:

Bailey and Allie
She loved basketball games! She wasn't a die hard fan like she was with football, but she still enjoyed going to games. Mark and I went over to watch a basketball game with her too, and they are pretty fun!

She was on the Linger Longer committee at church. They planned lots of fun meals, so the ward members could stay after church, eat, and get to know each other.

She stayed very active with HSA (Honors Student Association). They had a fun honors retreat, where they spent a weekend together having fun, and planning stuff for the rest of the year. This was the escape room.

Miniature golfing at the HSA retreat.

She was in a laser tag tournament on campus with some students from church. I laughed right out loud when she told me she was doing this. I think they only made it through one round, but she had a blast!

Her fierce laser tag team!

They had a nice honors banquet at the end of the semester.

At the end of the semester, they had Spring Fling. It was basically a giant carnival. Bailey had a blast! She used her self defense skills, and elbowed some dude in the gut when he came up behind her and tried to dirty dance with her. Hahaha, proud mom moment!
She was involved with so much more that I don't have pictures for. She has kept a 4.0, been very involved with campus life, and is now accepted into the Criminal Justice Program! She was the co-president of hall council, so she planned lots of really cool activities for the students living on campus. She also donated plasma once a week. She stopped donating right before the semester ended when she almost passed out and had to stay there and be watched for an extra hour. She did all this while training for a half ironman. She amazes me with her time management skills. She had a lot of college credits from AP tests and dual credit courses in HS, plus she's been overloading on credits, so she only has 3 semesters left! I'm glad she's making the most of her short time there!
