At the beginning of March, Mark and I took a weekend trip to Boise. Bailey was having her engagement pictures taken, and she still didn't have use of her right arm. She still couldn't do her hair, make up, nails, etc. on her own. We went just in case she needed help, and so we could get a long trail run in without snow. Turns out her friends were amazing, and got her all ready for pictures, so we weren't needed. We spent our time running and hiking in the foothills.
Our Friday run was an 11 miler at Hillside Park. Fun trails and TONS of dogs! We were the only ones on the trail without a dog with us, and I thought we were breaking some kind of rule.

Fun trails! |
Our Saturday adventure was a hike up Hulls Gulch. I love this trail! I've done it a couple other times when I've gone over to visit Bailey.

Lots of pretty bridges crossing the creek. |

Overlooking the city from way up the canyon. |

If wasn't running very much, but there is a waterfall right here. |

Good times! |
The weekend we were there is when things started going a bit crazy with the Corona Virus. This was the weekend that started the run on toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and certain foods. This is also the weekend that Boise State announced that all their classes would be online only. Little did we know, we'd be back to Boise the next weekend to pick Bailey up, because they shut down campus completely. Man, things progressed fast!
