Boise Weekend

We took a super fun, weekend trip to Boise for a lot of celebrations. We kicked it off Friday evening with Nora's 1st birthday party! So fun! She had a 'HOLY COW LOOK WHO'S ONE' theme. It was such a fun celebration with Nora's family. She has a lot of people who love her.

Cutest little family!

All Nora's party guests.

Bailey and Mason fed us all dinner; pizza, breadsticks, salad, and strawberry milk. 😁

The cutest little birthday girl!

Nora with her Uncle Taylor.

I can't believe we've been Grams and Pops for a hole year! We sure love this little cutie!

After dinner, Nora opened her presents. She got so many cool things from everybody.

Amanda painted the cutest pictures for Nora to hang in her bedroom.

Sawyer and Amanda also got Nora a little kitchen aid. Now she can help her mama bake stuff for Sugar Alley. πŸ˜„

We got Nora a tool set, and a few other fun things.

After presents, it was time for cake. Bailey made a goal when she was pregnant to learn how to make cakes. She wanted to be able to make Nora's first birthday cake. She did it! It was so cute, and super yummy!

So cute!

Nora loved her cake!

Ta-da!

I found a cute cow piΓ±ata at the feed store, and got it for a party decoration. We ended up filling it with candy, and the big kids had a great time with it. πŸ˜‚

After the party, and things quieted down for a bit, Mark and I got to play with Nora for a little while. We helped her figure out the presents we got her.

I love snuggling this tiny little peanut!

Making music with Pops.

She's about the cutest thing on the planet!

Saturday was Mason's graduation from Boise State University. He got his degree in electrical and computer engineering, with a minor in applied mathematics. He's a smarty pants! We all went to his graduation ceremony, and then out to lunch. After lunch, we went back to their place so Mason could open graduation and birthday gifts. Mark and I bugged out a little early, so we'd have time to squeeze in our long run for the week.

The graduation ceremony was in the stadium.

Woot! Woot!

It's official, he's a graduate!

Celebration lunch at Red Robin.

Mason got SO MUCH candy!

We got him a chess board, lots of candy, and a thing to lay on that rolls under the car when he's working on them.

Mark and I ran Stack Rock and Mr. Big on Saturday night. I added that to my May running blog post.

It was a really fun weekend filled with lots of celebrations!
