Memorial Day!

Mark, Bailey, Noah, and I were going to go to Craters of the Moon on Memorial Day, but the weather was supposed to be rainy all day. We don't mind hiking in the rain, but Bailey panics when there is lightening, so we decided to postpone that adventure. That gave us a chance to get our garden finished, and go to the Field of Honor at Freeman Park. They put 1000 flags on the hillside every year. It is a really cool and humbling sight to see. People in the community can purchase a flag and put a tag on it that represents a family member or loved one. It's cool to go through and read some of the tags.
