September dinner theme: Fair Food & Childhood/Mission

Our fist night we did fair food because the East Idaho State Fair was going on at the time. Everyone just did a favorite fair food. Mark made bullseye burgers, I did a Mexican corn casserole, Noah and Jonnae did pizza, and Sawyer and Amanda did funnel cake. Super fun!

The bullseye burgers were so good. Some people were skeptical, but everyone ended up loving them. My Mexican corn casserole was quite tasty too!

Sawyer loves these burgers at the fair, and he thought we did a good job replicating them.

They made the best funnel cake!

The next week was the girl's turn. We had to bring a dish from our mission, or our childhood. I made pancit (filipino noodles), Jonnae made pupusas from her mission, and Amanda did dino nuggets from her childhood. 😂
Yum!

The next week was the boy's turn, and they KILLED IT! Wow! They should be in charge all the time!

My favorite Sunday crew!

Sawyer did a Texas brisket from his mission. Oh my! Soooo good!

He even made his own bbq sauce.

Mark did corn casserole from his childhood.

Noah did completos from his mission. It's a hot dog, with diced tomatoes on it. Then you put guacamole on it to keep the tomatoes in place, and then top it off with mayo. Sounds strange, but it was so good! I may never eat a regular hot dog again.

We ate so much food! No regrets!

Oh, and just for fun, I did a very yummy pumpkin dessert!

I can't wait till October! I love our themes!
