Christmas Fun!

 Grinch Dinner:

Bailey planned the cutest Grinch dinner for her family and Mason's siblings in Boise. I decided to do something similar for Sawyer and Amanda. We had a yummy Grinch dinner and then watched the movie. I want this to be a new tradition with a different Christmas movie each year.

Who Roast Beast

Who Hash

Garlic in Your Soul Knots

Grinch Green Beans

Grinch Punch

Amanda made these yummy Oreo truffles for dessert.

Christmas Eve Dinner:

We called an audible and decided to have ribs for Christmas Eve dinner this year. Mark smoked the ribs, and made his famous yams. I made mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, blob salad, rolls, and Amanda made mint brownies for dessert. So yummy!

We had Larry over for Christmas Eve dinner.

Aren't they cute!

Sawyer ate too much, so he had to take a walk around the property in the rain.

Sawyer and Amanda spent the night. We played some games, got in our pjs, and went to bed.

Christmas Morning:

Christmas morning with adult kids (other than Bailey) is slower, more relaxed, and chill. I was up, had the chorse done, and the sticky buns made before Sawyer and Amanda came upstairs. We took our time opening presents, then had breakfast. They took a little nap, then we snacked all day, and played games until they went back home. It was a really fun day!

Sawyer and Amanda got us each a book, and our own special bag of homemade granola. I love granola!

Chicken pjs! 😁

This is all Amanda's loot from us, Sawyer, and her parents.

This is all Sawyer's stuff from us, Amanda, and her parents.

I got Sawyer shoes, clothes, and hats, so we had him try stuff on for us.

Looking handsome!

We didn't even pull out the leftovers; we just snacked all day long.

Christmas in Boise:

Mark and I took a quick trip to Boise to have a little Christmas with Bailey's family. When I say quick, I mean quick; we drove there and back in the same day. Totally worth it! We fed the animals breakfast and then headed out. We got there a little before lunch time, and opened presents with the girls. We didn't get them a ton, because they got a Disney trip for Christmas, and we're going with them. Part of their present is a character brunch in the park. After presents we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, went back to their house and watched Snow White with Nora, then headed home.

We LOVED our present from them! First Nora drew pictures of us.

Then Bailey cross stitched the pictures onto sweatshirts for us, so we have our own little Grams and Pops logos. So dang cute!

Nora was hilarious opening her presents.

Everything we got them was a Disney theme. Nora is so good at puzzles, so I got her a Disney one, and she was so good at it!

60 pieces and it hardly phased her!

She got 4 princess dresses; Rapunzel, Snow White, Elsa, and Belle.

Belle is currently her favorite princess.

Nora got to open Charlie's presents for her.

She is such a happy little dolly!

Charlie got a Minnie Mouse bowl and spoon because she's almost ready for real food.

She also got a cute Minnie teether stuffy.

Bailey hates the thought of fabric in mouths, so she wasn't thrilled about this gift. This is her trying not to gag every time Charlie put it on her mouth. πŸ˜‚

Charlie also got an outfit for Disneyland and a princess crinkle book.

Nora is in a phase where she doesn't like her picture taken. That's hard on me as a blogger and scrapbooker. I tried to be sneaky about the ones I took of her in her dresses. It never took her long to catch on though. πŸ˜…

The cutest little Snow White. She loved all the jewelry that came with this dress.

Elsa!

Yummy food and lots of Charlie kisses at the Cheesecake Factory!

That's a wrap! Can't wait to go to Disneyland with these cuties in January!
