Yay, It's finally snowshoe season!
Taggart & Bradley Lakes:
For our first snowshoe adventure of the season, we went to Grand Teton Park to snowshoe to Taggart and Bradly Lakes. Mark and I did this hike over the summer and loved it, and it's one of the few places that has winter access in the park. So pretty!

Our first glimpse of Taggart Lake behind us. |
|
We came at the perfect time of year. The lakes weren't completely frozen yet, so we could still see a little bit of water. |

So pretty! It's amazing how it looks so different in the different seasons. |

Mesa Falls:
We planned a snowshoe hike to Mesa Falls. We did it last year and LOVED it! The whole route is amazing, and the destination is incredible. We had lots of people from the IFTR join us, and it was a great day. It snowed the night before, so the trees looked awesome. Mason got snowshoes for Christmas, so this one his first time trying them out.

All of us at the lower falls. We could only stay there for a few minutes, cause it gets cold when you stop moving. |
|
We had some great frozen beards on this hike! |

From the lower falls, you take the road to the upper falls. |

We made it! |

It looks so cool in the winter! |

Big Judds for our finishing lunch! |
We heard they no longer let snowshoers on the trail to the falls. They have to take the road now. That is lame, but I'm super grateful we did it when we did!
