Indian Creek Camping Weekend

We had another awesome camping weekend up Indian Creek. The first night it was just Mark, Steph, and I in our trailer. Jen Saunders pulled her trailer up early Friday morning before our group run, and stayed Friday and Saturday night with us. Friday night, Noah and Jonnae came up, and Saturday night, Ryan Walker and his family joined us. It was so fun! It makes me want to have an IFTR group campout next year.

Friday morning we had a group run on Spring Run and Blowout for people to get those two Lost Souls routes. It was a great morning.

Twinning is winning; especially when it's not even done on purpose! We were in the trailer laying out our clothes for our early morning run, and we realized we all had the same clothes! Steph saw my shorts, and had the exact same pair in her truck with the tags still on them. She ran out and grabbed them and we were all set.

We even had the same shirts on underneath! 😂

The whole gang!

Silly faces!

Album covers! 😂

We should probably spend more time running, and less time screwing around. Never mind, we shouldn't! 😂

We got back to the trailers, had lunch, and took the kayaks down to Palisades Reservoir. It was a beautiful day on the lake.

Fun clouds.

So pretty!

We saw so many eagles!

I love my kayak so much!

That night we had breakfast hash for dinner, and peach cobbler for dessert. Yum!

The next morning we got up bright and early for a group run up Little Elk, down Waterfall Canyon, and past the upper and lower Palisades Lakes.

Our big group at the start.

We needed to climb Little Elk the our Lost Souls Challenge.

The flowers were so pretty!

Almost to the top.

At the top with the reservoir way below us. Such a pretty view up there no matter which way you look.

Mat took this picture of us trying to point to Mt. Baird. 😂

Love this!

The waterfall!

The upper Lake was pretty low, but oh so pretty!

The lower lake.

Jonnae and Noah took the kayaks out to the reservoir while we were gone. Then Noah worked on his homemade bow and arrow. We were skeptical, but he carved and arrow, and got it to shoot!

TaDa!

More horseshoes!

Ryan brought up a cool came called molki. These two were the champs!

Winner winner!

Noah made bow and arrows for the Walker kids, and it was the cutest thing! They could shoot them all the way across the creek. The kids were entertained by them for quite some time.

I love camping, and it's even more fun with friends and family! We definitely need to do this again!
