Rainy Creek Camping-2

We were able to get in one more camping weekend with Bailey before she leaves for college. We went to Rainy Creek again, and had a great time. We went up on Thursday night and set up camp. On Friday we woke up and cooked tin foil breakfasts over the fire. Then we took the dogs on a pretty hard hike up Sheep Creek. When we got back we played in the freezing cold creek for awhile. The rest of the day we relaxed, and played games. On Saturday we did one more hike up Rainy Creek, and then we had to pack up and get home early, because Bailey was going to the rodeo with some friends.

We love waking up to views like this!

Bailey started all of our fires, and she was really good at it! She didn't even use paper to get them started. All her years of girl's camp are paying off!

Tin foil breakfasts!

Hiking up Sheep Creek. We heard a big movement in the trees, and a big grunt. Bailey freaked out, because we thought it was a bear. Mark got the bear spray out and went ahead of us. It ended up being lots of big cows, but man that'll get your heart going!

She is the happiest when she gets to camp and hike with her family. She loves it, and smiles all weekend long!

Mark having a nap in the hammock, and Reeses just being happy to be there!

Bailey kept telling us to get on our swim gear so we could go in the creek. I about died when I looked up and saw her like this! Such a dork!

The water was FREEZING! Bailey and Mark went all the way under. I only went in up to my waist.

Hahahahaha! She's looking for fish!

Just kicking back!

Making popcorn!
Camping poops them out!

Reeses favorite part of hiking is crossing the creeks.

Rainy Creek hike!
