IFTR Women's Runs

The Idaho Falls Trail Runners started holding group women's run's every Monday evening at Kelly Canyon. It's been such a fun way for me to learn some new trails, and meet some great local trail running ladies. It's an all abilities group, and the ladies have done a great job at making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I've loved it!

The first run I went to was up Sidewinder! It was hard, but it's a trail I've come to really love.

The view from the top of Sidewinder!

The Buckskin Morgan trail with the rollie pollies.

Another trip up Sidewinder. It's fun, because we have a few ladies that are pretty regular at coming each week, and then we always have different people show up. This was one of the biggest runs and we had an encounter with a rattlesnake!

The ski hill run!

We climbed the ski hill, and then had a great run down the backside.

The trail on the backside of the ski hill is beautiful and fun to run!

We even had a cold run in the pouring rain!

Top of the ski hill and down the rollers!

These are the kinds of views we usually get.

This is me running off into the sunset on our final run down Sidewinder!

After our last run of the summer, we stopped for pizza at Heise!
I can't wait until these runs start back up next summer. They've been so fun!
