Tablerock Hike

Ashley planned a hike up Tablerock, and I was so excited to go. We set off from the trailhead before 6:00 in the morning, and we had a beautiful day! We hiked up the face, and down huckleberry. The weather was perfect; we even had a small storm blow over and we got a few sprinkles on the way down. It was just enough to cool us off, but not get us really wet. The flowers were in full bloom, the views were amazing, and the company was great. Ashley and Joyce saw a bear on the way up. Ashely happened to turn around, and it was running across the trail behind us. By the time Christie and I made it back to them, it was already in the trees, so we didn't get to see it. We made friends with a very friendly marmot at the top while we were eating lunch. Joyce got to touch it, and it tried to climb up my leg. 😂 On the way back down We got stopped for awhile because there was a bull moose on the trail, and another one right next to the trail. They both looked young, and they weren't the slightest bit concerned by us. We waited for them to move off the trail, and then we detoured off the trail to get around them. So fun! I love this trail, and I'm super glad I got the chance to do it this year.

So many amazing flowers!

Hiking up the face. It's quite a climb!

Gorgeous views any direction you look!
