Moab Sibling Trip

We took a sibling trip to Moab, and it was so fun! It was nice to get to catch up with Scott, Amber, Kim, and Russ, while touring all the places we love in Moab. Mark and I are the only ones who had been there before, so we were the tour guides for Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, and Delicate Arch. We also took a super fun razor ride through Hells Revenge. So fun!

 Fisher Towers:

We got down there and hiked the Fisher Tower Trail with Scott and Amber while we waited for Kim and Russ to get there. It was a really pretty one!

See that little dot on the highest rock? That's a person standing up there! People were rock climbing up the side of that. Crazy!

Going down the ladder.

Shadow people! Hahaha, check out Scott's big muscle!

Canyonlands:

I think Canyonlands is one of the most underrated National Parks. I love it! I've been there four or five times, and it never gets old. We knew we had a lot to cover in one day, so we just did our favorite sites and hikes.

Canyonlands!

Upheaval Dome:
We really love this hike! The hike itself is cool, and the dome is a cool destination. We all need to go back again, and do the long hike that takes you into the canyon and into the dome. Mark and I did it a few years ago and loved it. We kept saying that we thought Scott would love it.

The Aztec Buttes:

The Aztec Buttes are fun, because there are granaries built into the side of the butte walls.

White Rim Overlook:

The White Rim Overlook is one of my favorite trails in the whole park.

Looking down at the White Rim.

😂😂😂

Mark wasn't even scared to walk out on these rocks this time. He's getting so much better with heights and ledges.

Mesa Arch:

Mesa Arch was our last stop in Canyonlands before heading to Dead Horse Point.

Mesa Arch

Dead Horse Point:

We got to Dead Horse Point and knew we didn't have long before the sun would go down. We did a little trail running along the rim, so we could see as much as possible.

This was the coolest picture spot! We stopped here on the way back for sunset pictures too.

Sunset!

It was fun running along the rim watching the sun go down.

The canyon is so pretty as it gets dark.

Razor Ride:

The next day we took a guided razor tour through Hell's Revenge. It was so cool, and a little bit crazy. I can't believe what those razors can do! We went over some sketchy stuff, and the razors did great. I was amazed!

Getting ready to start.

The scenery around where we were riding was so pretty!

The track we were on was so fun!

The video doesn't do it justice, but we went up and down some steep stuff, with big drop offs on both sides of us.

So fun!

Delicate Arch:

We hiked to Delicate Arch for the sunset. So pretty!

Our first glimpse of the arch.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole weekend.

One last look, and then we hiked down in the dark with our headlamps.

We want to do a sibling trip every year. There are endless places we could go, so it'll be fun to decide on our next one. We may already have an idea, and I hope it works out, because I'm super excited about it. Stay tuned....
